On December 6th, a major event took place in Chennai.
The release ceremony of the book “Ambedkar for All” was held on a grand scale. Speaking at the event, Vijay said that the leader of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Thol. Thirumavalavan, was unable to attend.
Vijay further stated that he could only imagine the amount of pressure the coalition parties must have put on Thirumavalavan to prevent him from attending the book release ceremony of Ambedkar.
Journalists asked Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin about Vijay’s speech. He said he doesn’t watch cinema news. T.K.S. Elangovan also said that Vijay’s party is putting pressure, but I don’t agree with that.
“I have clarified that there is no such pressure, and that neither I nor the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi are that weak,” he said.
