Actor Varun Dhawan has resumed shooting for his upcoming action thriller film ‘Baby John,’ as announced on Sunday via his Instagram stories. Sharing a picture from the set, Dhawan flaunted his muscular physique while expressing his excitement to be back on set with the caption, “Back to work #babyjohn.”
Recently, Dhawan also took to Instagram to reveal the film’s release date, posting a striking poster with the caption, “Hold on tight, the ride is about to get wild. #BabyJohn coming to your nearest theaters on May 31st!” The poster features Dhawan in a black vest, holding a knife, with text hinting at the intensity of the storyline.
Directed by A. Kaleeswaran and presented by Atlee in association with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios, ‘Baby John’ boasts a star-studded cast including Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. The film, produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, unveiled an intriguing teaser that garnered massive responses from fans.
‘Baby John’ is set to hit theaters on May 31, 2024, promising an adrenaline-fueled cinematic experience. Additionally, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the Indian adaptation of the acclaimed Hollywood series ‘Citadel,’ alongside actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
