Contrary to initial reports suggesting Brar’s demise in a shooting incident in the United States, authorities have confirmed that he is alive, dispelling rumors of his death.
The Fresno Police Department has refuted claims of Brar’s death, labeling them as false. Lieutenant William J. Dooley clarified that the victim of the shooting incident in question was not Goldy Brar, debunking online speculations. “If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar’, we can confirm that this is absolutely not true,” stated Lieutenant Dooley.
Earlier reports had circulated suggesting that Goldy Brar, who has been linked to the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, had fallen victim to gunfire in the US. The alleged incident purportedly took place at Fairmont and Holt Avenue, leaving Brar and another individual injured.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene where Brar and a companion were targeted by unidentified assailants who quickly fled the scene after the attack. Police officer Lasley Williams confirmed casualties, with one fatality reported.
In a dramatic twist, rival gangsters Arsh Dalla and Lakhbir claimed responsibility for Brar’s alleged demise, citing longstanding animosity as their motive. However, no official statements emerged from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang or other criminal factions at the time.
Goldy Brar, a notorious figure in criminal circles, has been connected to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Moosewala, known for his unique blend of traditional Punjabi folk music and contemporary hip-hop elements, was tragically shot dead on May 29, 2022.
