In an exclusive announcement, it has been revealed that actors Brandon Routh, Mena Suvari, and Cheech Marin are set to join the cast of “Fate The Movie,” a suspenseful, supernatural romance directed by Jonathan Baker. The film, currently being filmed in Vancouver, boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Faye Dunaway, Harvey Keitel, and Andrew McCarthy.
The plot revolves around firefighter Sam Ellis (played by Routh), who finds himself transported through time in search of true love after connecting with a stranger named Tilly while recovering at a rehabilitation center. Baker, also the writer of the script, expressed excitement about the star-studded cast, stating that their talent adds depth to the film’s epic love story.
Routh, known for his roles in “Superman Returns” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” has recently appeared in projects such as “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” and “The Flash.” Suvari, recognized for her performances in “American Beauty” and “American Pie,” has been seen in indie films like “Prey” and “Breakwater.” Marin, one half of the iconic comedy duo Cheech & Chong, has credits including “NBC’s Lopez vs Lopez” and “Focus Features’ Champions.”
