On January 18, 2024, Crunchyroll delighted fans with a captivating announcement, unveiling the cast and release date for the English dubbed version of the television anime series “The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic.” The anime, originally premiering in Japan on January 5, 2024, has become a standout in the Winter 2024 anime season and is now enchanting global audiences through Crunchyroll’s weekly international streaming as it airs in Japan.
The series, an adaptation of Kurokata and KeG’s original light novel series, originated from Kurokata’s web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, and its narrative continues to unfold to this day.
The highly anticipated English dub of “The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic” is scheduled to premiere on Crunchyroll on January 18. Following Crunchyroll’s SimulDub tradition, the English version will maintain a two-episode gap from the original Japanese audio. The talented English cast, led by director Caitlin Glass and producer Samantha Herek, promises a seamless experience, with adaptation credits going to Jarrod Greene and Jamal Roberson serving as the dub’s engineer.
Adding a melodic touch to the magical journey, the opening theme “Cure” by waterweed and the closing theme “Green Jade” by ChouCho enhance the auditory experience.

Transported to another world through a magical circle, the trio discovers Usato’s rare healing magic power. Abducted by a woman named Rose, Usato is drafted into her ranks, destined to become her right-hand man. “The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic” promises a fantastical journey filled with laughter, battles, and a touch of enchantment.
