In the lead-up to the highly anticipated Super Bowl LVIII on February 11, the complete lineup of performers set to grace the stage before and during the event has been officially revealed, intensifying the excitement among fans.
Country music legend Reba McEntire has been chosen to perform the national anthem as part of the pregame spectacle in Las Vegas, making a return to this iconic performance. McEntire previously sang the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in 1974, a moment captured in a behind-the-scenes video.
Post Malone is set to deliver a soul-stirring rendition of “America the Beautiful” just before McEntire takes center stage, and Andra Day will captivate the audience with her rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Adding a touch of Bollywood flair to the festivities, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will set the dance floor ablaze with ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.’
McEntire, a three-time Grammy winner with over 30 studio albums, follows in the footsteps of Chris Stapleton as the second consecutive country performer entrusted with the prestigious Super Bowl anthem assignment, following Stapleton’s performance in 2023.
In addition to the pregame excitement, the halftime show promises to be a show-stopping event, with Usher headlining at Allegiant Stadium. The halftime show is co-executive produced by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation company and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins.
Super Bowl LVIII will also celebrate inclusivity, with performers interpreting the “National Anthem,” “America the Beautiful,” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” in American Sign Language (ASL). Daniel Durant, star of the acclaimed film “Coda,” will perform the National Anthem in ASL, while model Anjel Piñero and actor Shaheem Sanchez will deliver expressive ASL renditions of “America the Beautiful” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” respectively.
