It’s been more than 10 days, but the Malayalam film ‘Manjummel Boys’ has been the talk of the town and the film has been critically acclaimed. The suspense thriller directed by Chidambaram has grossed more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. While many directors have acclaimed the film, now director Venkat Prabhu has also praised the film. The ‘Greatest of All Time’ director interacting to the media during a public event stated that right now everyone is celebrating the film and it has been released at a time when films that star a hero and heroine are working well. He said that the film just with a bunch of boys has proved that it can work well in Tamil Nadu than other films. He also said that language is not a barrier and the art is more important.
Director Pa Ranjith also applauded the success of ‘Manjummel Boys’. The ‘Thangalaan’ director said that the movie is a simple film with no unnecessary songs and added that the movie created an emotional connection with fans just with one song at the beginning and using it in the climax as well.
