Actress Mona Singh, currently making headlines for her recently released film “Munjya,” is set to collaborate with Aamir Khan for the third time in a comedy adventure. According to a recent report by Midday, Mona has just finished shooting for the film. The report highlights Mona’s great relationship with Aamir Khan Productions and her excitement to be working with them again for the third time. The movie, a comedy adventure plot, features Mona in the role of a gangster and promises to take the audience back to the “Delhi Belly” (2011) days.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the film is titled “Happy Patel Khatarnaak Jasoos” and also stars Mithila Palkar and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. The movie is being jointly directed by Vir Das and Kavi Shastri.
Mona Singh has previously worked with Aamir Khan in “3 Idiots” (2009) and “Laal Singh Chaddha” (2022). In both these films, Aamir Khan was involved as an actor, but in this project, he is also serving as a producer.
In addition to “Happy Patel Khatarnaak Jasoos,” Aamir Khan is expected to have another release this year, “Sitaare Zameen Par.” This film features him in the lead role and is directed by R S Prasanna of “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan” (2017) fame. The film is the official remake of the 2018 Spanish film “Campeones” and also stars Genelia Deshmukh. This project reunites Aamir Khan with his “Taare Zameen Par” (2007) co-star Darsheel Safary.
