In its 22-day theatrical run, Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Aavesham’, directed by Jithu Madhavan, remains a magnet for moviegoers despite new releases hitting the screens. As it inches closer to the Rs 140 crore mark, the film has sustained its appeal, continuing to draw audiences into theaters.
As of Thursday, May 2, ‘Aavesham’ has garnered an estimated net collection of Rs 74.03 crore in India, with its gross collection standing at Rs 84.65 crore. Overseas, the film has pulled in a significant Rs 51 crore. Early estimates put the film’s net collection at approximately Rs 1.30 crore.
On its 22nd day since release, ‘Aavesham’ maintained a steady performance, with an overall Malayalam occupancy of 23.80%. Morning shows started with a respectable 13.63% occupancy, which gradually rose during the afternoon to 21.23%. The upward trend continued into the evening and night shows, reaching 26.07% and peaking at 34.25% occupancy, respectively.
