In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Jambhale discusses the film’s triumph at the box office and addresses the challenges encountered during production, while expressing confidence in the discernment of the Indian audience.
Jambhale acknowledges the substantial research that went into the making of ‘Article 370,’ spanning five months and involving collaboration with investigative journalists. He highlights the film’s narrative construction, connecting various events and significant points, transforming the filmmaking team into investigative journalists themselves.
Despite anticipating criticism due to the film’s sensitive political subject matter, Jambhale remains resolute in his belief in the intelligence of the Indian audience. He asserts that attempts to deceive the audience are futile, as opinions are formed based on what viewers see and feel.
