During the event, the ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ star highlighted the underrepresentation of women in the production and business sectors of the film industry. Responding to her concerns, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan assured that the government would take necessary measures to empower women in film production and technology roles.
Taking to Instagram, Aishwarya Lekshmi shared her thoughts on the event, praising the government’s initiative in organizing the Nava Kerala Sthree Sadas. She commended the efforts of decision-makers engaging in discussions with women from various parts of Kerala to address challenges and explore practical solutions for enhancing their quality of life.
Expressing her honor at observing Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Minister Veena George at work, Aishwarya Lekshmi left the venue feeling inspired by the strength and stories of the women she met. She acknowledged the significant efforts by the government to improve conditions for women in Kerala.
