VJ and actress Aishwarya Ragupathi faced a distressing incident at the pre-release event of Dhanush-starrer ‘Captain Miller’ where she attended yesterday. The bold personality revealed on her social media platform that she was allegedly harassed by a male attendee in the crowd.
Aishwarya didn’t hesitate to confront the individual, reportedly engaging in a physical altercation to defend herself. She pursued the alleged harasser, demanding an apology, and compelled him to fall at her feet. Recounting the incident on her social media page, Aishwarya Ragupathi expressed her strong reaction, stating, “In that crowd, a guy harassed me. I faced him immediately and didn’t let go until I started beating him. He ran, but I chased him, refusing to release my grip. I wasn’t able to accept that he had the guts to grab a woman’s body part. I shouted & attacked him.”
Despite having a supportive circle, Aishwarya admitted feeling apprehensive about the presence of a minority of individuals who engage in inappropriate behavior. She emphasized her belief in the existence of kind and respectful people but expressed fear regarding the presence of such “monsters.”
This incident comes on the heels of a controversy last year involving Aishwarya Ragupathi and actor Cool Suresh. The actor faced criticism for his alleged inappropriate behavior towards her during the ‘Sarakku’ press meet.
