Actor Richa Chadha celebrated her birthday a few days ago, and her husband, Ali Fazal, marked the occasion by sharing a sentimental post on Friday. Fazal posted a video highlighting cherished moments with Richa, expressing joy and love. In the caption, he wrote, “Am posting the same one you sent me for my birthday…! This is your month. Happy Birthdays my love. Am happy. @therichachadha!,” accompanied by a heart emoji.
The post received considerable engagement, with singer-actor Saba Azad commenting, “Best babies [?][?],” and another social media user praising the romantic gesture.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who first met on the set of Fukrey in 2012, have been legally married since 2020. They celebrated their union with festivities across Delhi, Mumbai, and Lucknow last year, which will be showcased in a wedding documentary titled “RiAliTY.” Directed by Rahul Singh Dutta, the documentary aims to provide a glimpse into the couple’s dreamy wedding, along with behind-the-scenes moments and perspectives from their close ones.
Speaking about the documentary, Ali Fazal said, “RiAlity is a testament to the fact that love is not always perfect, but it is always enough. Love is profound, it is messy, and yet worth moving worlds for. RiAlity captures some of the essence of our journey, not just as actors but as two regular people in love.”
On the professional front, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are collaborating on a film titled “Girls will be Girls,” produced under their banner. Directed by Shuchi Talati, the film tells a compelling story set in a boarding school in a small Himalayan hill town in northern India. The narrative follows the journey of Mira, a 16-year-old girl whose rebellious awakening is intertwined with her mother’s unfulfilled coming-of-age experiences.
The cast includes award-winning Malayalam film actress KKusruti, Jitin Gulati, and debutants Preeti Panigrahi and Kesav Binoy Kiron in lead roles.
