The highly anticipated trailer for Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” has been unveiled, sparking excitement among fans who are particularly impressed by the stunning appearances of Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Prabhas. Alia Bhatt, among others, has taken to social media to share her reaction to the trailer, describing it as “unreal” with applause emojis.
Set in the mythical and dystopian city of Varanasi, the film traces a journey from the Mahabharata era in 3102 BC to the year 2898 AD, focusing on Kalki, the tenth avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu.
The star-studded cast includes Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Dulquer Salmaan in significant roles. “Kalki 2898 AD” has already generated buzz globally, with advance bookings surpassing $500K in international markets.
Scheduled for release on June 27th, with its initial screening set for June 26th in the USA, the film promises an epic cinematic experience.
