After a prolonged absence from public view, actress Amanda Bynes has made a notable return with the launch of her podcast, “Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast.” This marks Bynes’ first on-camera project since her appearance in the 2010 comedy film ‘Easy A.’ The podcast, also available in video format, features Bynes in the role of an interviewer alongside co-host Paul Sieminski, a biochemist.
On the inaugural episode, Bynes and Sieminski engaged in a conversation with Los Angeles tattoo artist Dahlia Moth, who had previously crossed paths with the Hairspray star while working at a Spirit Halloween store a few years ago. Despite being the central figure, Bynes did not delve into her personal life but maintained a focus on the guest.
The actress, now 37, shared a snapshot on Instagram featuring herself, Sieminski, and Moth, with a caption expressing gratitude to their guest. In the picture, Bynes sported a new platinum blond hairstyle fashioned into two space buns, which she had debuted earlier in the fall.
For over a decade, Amanda Bynes has deliberately kept a low profile, discussing her private life sparingly amidst personal struggles, while concentrating on projects outside of Hollywood. In 2021, her conservatorship, in place for almost nine years, was terminated. However, this March, Bynes faced a 72-hour psychiatric hold, preventing her attendance at a planned cast reunion with her former All That co-stars in Connecticut.
Having announced in November that she and Paul were collaborating on a podcast, Bynes expressed their aspirations to start by interviewing friends and eventually expanding to feature celebrity and artist guests. The actress, known for her early roles as a child star, is now embarking on a new chapter in the public eye with her foray into podcasting.
Stay tuned for updates as Amanda Bynes and Paul Sieminski embark on their podcasting journey, bringing fresh insights and engaging conversations to their growing audience.
