A group of prominent actors, including Darshan Thoogudeepa, Dhananjaya, Abishek Ambareesh, Chikanna, producer Rockline Venkatesh, director Tharun Sudhir, and music composer Harikrishna, recently faced legal scrutiny for an alleged late-night celebration at a Bengaluru pub. The gathering, which took place on January 4, was reportedly in honor of Darshan’s film, “Kaatera.”
Following the event, the actors were served notices as they were suspected of violating regulations by extending their revelry beyond the permissible hours. Sources reveal that during questioning, the actors clarified that they were waiting for food and denied any involvement in an organized party with alcohol. The police instructed them to provide written statements detailing the circumstances. Subsequently, the individuals were released after complying with the request.
Rockline Venkatesh defended the group’s actions, stating, “After the premiere, we decided to have dinner together and visited the bar. We never disturbed anyone, nor was the whole thing planned. Also, no police nor any excise department official visited the bar directing it to close down.” The incident has sparked discussions about the adherence to social regulations and celebrity responsibilities.
