The prestigious Summer Olympics 2024 recently kicked off in Paris, with the opening ceremony on July 26 drawing many high-profile personalities and celebrities. Among those in attendance is American singer and actor Nick Jonas, whose presence at the Olympics has an interesting connection to his wedding with Priyanka Chopra.
Before heading to Paris, Nick Jonas appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and revealed that he was attending the Paris Olympics at the invitation of designer Ralph Lauren. Jonas explained that Ralph Lauren had played a significant role in his life, including dressing both him and Priyanka Chopra for their wedding. The couple originally met when they were paired together at the Met Gala by Ralph Lauren. Jonas added that the Olympics is his favorite event.
During the talk show, Jonas also discussed being affectionately called “Jiju” by his fans in India, explaining that “Jiju” means elder sister’s husband, effectively making him the older brother to India. He expressed his appreciation for this term of endearment.
