He referred to their kiss in Murder as the worst, while he praised his on-screen kisses with Jacqueline Fernandez in Murder 2 as his best.
The film Murder was a significant hit at its release, but the relationship between Hashmi and Sherawat was marred by conflict. In a 2021 interview on The Love Laugh Live Show with Mandira Bedi, Mallika Sherawat revealed that she and Emraan Hashmi had a feud during the filming of Murder. She described their dispute as “childish” and mentioned that they did not communicate after the conflict, which arose during the film’s promotion.
