Keerthy Suresh, who tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Antony Thattil on December 12, 2024, has been busy promoting her latest film, Baby John.
During her recent public appearances, fans noticed her wearing a turmeric thread around her neck instead of a mangalsutra. In an interview with Galatta India, Keerthy explained that the sacred thread cannot be removed until an auspicious date, after which it is traditionally replaced with a gold chain. She revealed that the chosen date falls towards the end of January.
Despite suggestions to hide the thread during promotions, Keerthy embraced it, saying she thought it looked “hot” and was happy to flaunt it. Sharing moments from her traditional wedding ceremony in Goa on Instagram, Keerthy posted heartwarming pictures of her and Antony exchanging garlands and posing with their dog.
