In a recent revelation, director Vetrimaaran has outlined the shooting schedule for his much-anticipated movie starring Suriya, ‘Vaadivaasal.’ The director confirmed that filming for this project will commence only after the release of ‘Viduthalai Part 2.’ He disclosed that certain flashback scenes for ‘Viduthalai Part 2’ are yet to be completed, leading to the decision to prioritize its shooting before starting with ‘Vaadivaasal.’
Currently in the pre-production phase, the team is actively engaged in animatronics work in London. Notably, a distinctive approach is being employed, involving the scanning of a real-life bull with which actor Suriya underwent training. The team is now in the process of creating a mechanized robot based on this scan, showcasing a unique and innovative dimension to the film.
Addressing circulating rumors, Vetrimaaran clarified that the delay in ‘Vaadivaasal’s’ shoot is not attributed to Suriya’s busy schedule. Previous speculations hinted at scheduling conflicts, but the director put those rumors to rest.
During Suriya’s previous birthday, the ‘Vaadivaasal’ team shared glimpses of the actor participating in a Jallikattu fight scene, highlighting his dedication to the role. Suriya underwent rigorous training for the sequence.
Amidst his commitments, Suriya is currently occupied with the shooting of ‘Kanguva,’ directed by Siva. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, KS Ravikumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Yogi Babu. Additionally, Suriya has two other projects in the pipeline, one with Sudha Kongara exploring the anti-Hindi sentiment in Tamil Nadu, featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Verma, and Nazriya Fahadh. The second project is a remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru,’ where Suriya will play a cameo role alongside Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan.
