Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, known for her back-to-back successful movies like ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, and ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’, recently opened up about the mental toll of facing plastic surgery rumors.
Speaking on Arbaaz Khan’s show ‘Pinch’, Kiara recounted an incident where she attended an event and later found herself at the receiving end of online trolling. “I remember attending an event and when the pictures surfaced on various social media platforms, there were numerous comments suggesting that I had undergone plastic surgery. The irony was that I almost started believing that I had done something to myself,” she said.
She also shared a similar experience on Anaita Adajania’s show, revealing, “I was once at a clothing line launch where I had done my own makeup, thinking I was good at it. However, I might have gone overboard with it that day. In the pictures, I could see prominent highlights on my cheeks, which led people to speculate that I had gotten botox injections. It was so disheartening that I began to believe that something had indeed changed on my face.”
Kiara admitted that these rumors took a toll on her mental well-being, causing her to doubt her own appearance.
On the professional front, Kiara Advani is set to appear in the upcoming movie ‘Game Changer’ alongside Ram Charan. She is also slated to star in ‘Don 3’ alongside Ranveer Singh.
