Veteran actress Lissy Lakshmi recently delighted her fans with a virtual tour of her vacation at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Portugal and Europe. Known for her role in the iconic film ‘Chithram,’ Lissy took to social media to share a series of captivating photographs from her picturesque getaway.
In her post, the actress not only showcased the stunning beauty of Cabo da Roca but also highlighted its historical significance. She reminisced about a time when explorers believed this rugged coastline to be the boundary between land and sea.
“Dropping some photos from Cape Roca. Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point of Portugal and, of course, Europe. It is referred to as ‘the edge of the world’ or ‘end of the world.’ Before America was discovered, people used to believe that Cape Roca is where land ended and the sea began. Beautiful place to visit, not that far from Lisbon,” Lissy wrote.
Additionally, Lissy Lakshmi recommended indulging in the local delicacies, particularly the freshly caught sardines grilled to perfection in one of the restaurants that line the coastline. “Should try locally caught fresh Sardines grilled in one of the few restaurants in the cape whilst enjoying the view!” she added.
Lissy Lakshmi is known for her active presence on social media, where she often shares glimpses of her work and personal life.
