In a successful transition from the silver screen to the digital realm, the Meera Jasmine and Narain starrer ‘Queen Elizabeth’ is set to captivate audiences on the OTT platform Zee5 this Valentine’s Day, February 14. The film, directed by M. Padmakumar, originally hit theaters on December 29 and is now ready for its digital premiere.
Taking to social media, Meera Jasmine posted a video urging movie enthusiasts not to miss the opportunity to catch ‘Queen Elizabeth’ on Zee5. The actress stated, “Those who missed ‘Queen Elizabeth’ in theaters must not miss it on Zee5. ‘Queen Elizabeth’ is going to stream on Zee5 from the 14th of February; don’t miss it!”
The official announcement from the makers accompanied the video, captioned, “Don’t miss the Queen’s arrival this Valentine’s Day on ZEE5! ‘Queen Elizabeth’ premieres on February 14th.”
Directed by M. Padmakumar and scripted by Arjun Sathyan, ‘Queen Elizabeth’ showcases the on-screen chemistry of Meera Jasmine and Narain, reuniting the popular duo after their previous hits like ‘Achuvinte Amma,’ ‘Minnaminnikoottam,’ and ‘Ore Kadal.’ Jithu Damodar served as the cinematography director, while Akhilesh Mohan took on the role of editor. Ranjin Raj handled the music and background score, with M. Bava as the art director and Jithu Payyanur as the makeup artist. Liju Prabhakar served as the colorist, and Ullas Krishna took on the role of chief associate director. The sound design and mix were skillfully done by Sinoy Joseph.
In addition to her success in ‘Queen Elizabeth,’ Meera Jasmine is set to grace the Tamil movie ‘Test,’ alongside R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth. The anticipation surrounding ‘Test’ is palpable, with a recent picture of Nayanthara and Meera Jasmine from the movie sets generating considerable buzz among fans.
