Celebrating a Decade: Nazriya Nazim Reflects on ‘Om Shanti Oshana’ Milestone
Renowned actress Nazriya Nazim commemorated the 10th anniversary of the beloved film ‘Om Shanti Oshana,’ directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The movie, which starred Nivin Pauly alongside Nazriya Nazim in lead roles, was released on February 7, 2014.
Expressing her sentiments on Instagram, Nazriya Nazim, who portrayed the character Pooja Mathew, shared a heartfelt note. She revealed that even after a decade, people still associate her with the character’s name, and the experience continues to give her goosebumps. The actress expressed gratitude to everyone who believed in her and in Pooja’s character and love.
In her Instagram post, Nazriya Nazim stated, “Happy 10… A decade ago Om Shanti Oshana released… Till today… so many people call me Pooja… it still gives me goosebumps… she was a rowdy baby so much more than just that n everyone’s fav… n oh my… the way she loved… To everybody who believed in me n Pooja n her love, I will forever be grateful….i will forever try my best… To the character that is so close to my heart n to many girls. To that kind of love (sic)!”
Looking ahead, Nazriya Nazim is set to appear in the upcoming Suriya-starrer, tentatively titled ‘#Suriya43.’
