In a much-anticipated revelation, director Venky Kudumula and actor Nithiin joyously unveiled the title of their upcoming film, ‘Robinhood.’ With a glimpse into the film’s essence, Nithiin and director Venky shared their excitement on X (formerly known as Twitter), proclaiming, “ROBINHOOD is here.”
The teaser introduces Nithiin’s character, who intriguingly justifies his actions, considering all Indians as his brothers and sisters. Portraying people as his family and the affluent as his siblings, he boldly claims the right to “steal” from them, emphasizing that there are legal repercussions when he does so for the greater good. The teaser playfully shows Nithiin filling a tank with cash and gold, aligning with the traditional ‘Robinhood’ concept of redistributing wealth from the rich to the underprivileged.
Adding a touch of mystery, an earlier poster featuring Nithiin as Santa Claus suggests a potential blend of humor with a distinctive plot. The film boasts a talented technical crew, including music composer GV Prakash, cinematographer Sai Sriram, and editor Prawin Pudi.
Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore also join the cast in significant roles. While Rashmika Mandanna was initially part of the project, having collaborated with the team on ‘Bheeshma,’ scheduling conflicts with other projects led to her withdrawal. With the remaining cast shrouded in secrecy, fans eagerly anticipate discovering who will be Nithiin’s co-star.
