Filmmaker Omar Lulu has teamed up with actors Rahman and Dhyan Sreenivasan for his upcoming project, which commenced filming on Sunday, April 21. The shooting began with a muhurat puja ceremony at Ezhupunna, Alappuzha. The film’s script is penned by Sarang Jayaprakash, who previously co-wrote Omar Lulu’s films ‘Oru Adaar Love’ (2019) and ‘Dhamaka’.
Rahman, who is set to play the lead role, expressed his enthusiasm about working with Omar Lulu in an Instagram post. He wrote, “A new look. A new project, surely with your blessings. Directed by Omar Lulu for Abaam Movies. Just sharing.”
The film will also feature actors Sheelu Abraham and Aradhya Ann as the leading ladies. Other prominent cast members include Babu Antony, Bibin George, Anson Paul, Senthil Krishna, Tini Tom, Harishree Ashokan, and Mallika Sukumaran.
Described as an entertainer, the technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer Alby, editor Dilip Dennis, and music director William Francis.
Omar Lulu’s previous film was ‘Nalla Samayam’, and he has also announced another project titled ‘Power Star’ with Babu Antony. Meanwhile, Rahman was last seen in ‘Ganapath’, marking his Bollywood debut.
Dhyan Sreenivasan is currently celebrating the success of his recent release ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’, directed by his brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. He also has ‘Malayalee From India’ set for release in May.
