Parvathy Thiruvothu and Urvashi’s intense drama film ‘Ullozhukku’ continues to make a significant impact at the box office, collecting Rs 4.3 crores in 26 days since its release. The movie has received positive feedback from audiences and critics alike. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 2 lakhs on its 26th day from the Kerala Box Office (KBO), bringing its total Malayalam Net Box Office collections to Rs 3.82 crores.
Directed by Christo Tomy, ‘Ullozhukku’ is a claustrophobic psychological drama that delves into the lives of two women trapped in man-made prisons. Set against the backdrop of a flooded region in Kerala, the story follows a woman and her daughter-in-law as they face the daunting task of burying a loved one. Due to the relentless floods, the burial is postponed, unearthing long-buried secrets and lies that threaten to tear the family apart.
