In a much-anticipated cinematic event, the upcoming film ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,’ featuring leading actors Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is poised to grace theaters on December 22. Directed by the acclaimed Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the movie has generated considerable excitement among audiences.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared his insights into working alongside Prabhas on the film set. Noting the common practice of Tollywood actors having titles, Prithviraj shed light on why Prabhas is affectionately known as ‘Darling.’ According to Prithviraj, anyone collaborating with Prabhas finds him endearing, emphasizing the actor’s exceptional kindness. He praised Prabhas for treating everyone on the set with the same warmth, ensuring their satisfaction and even personally overseeing special meals for the entire cast.
Describing Prabhas as remarkably humble and unaware of the extent of his stardom, Prithviraj drew parallels between their off-screen camaraderie and the on-screen relationship of their characters in Salaar, Deva and Varada.
As for the future of Salaar, Prithviraj revealed ongoing discussions, although a concrete timeline remains elusive. He disclosed that the second part of the film surpasses the first in scale and premise, initially conceived by director Prashanth Neel as a single, comprehensive narrative before being adapted into a two-part cinematic experience.
‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ boasts an ensemble cast, including Tinnu Anand, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eeswari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Mime Gopi, John Vijay, and more, in pivotal roles. The plot of the film is set to revolve around a compelling tale of friendship, adding to the intrigue and anticipation surrounding this cinematic endeavor.
