The highly anticipated spin-off film, ‘Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaaya Pranayakatha’, which continues the story of the beloved characters Sureshan and Sumalatha from the blockbuster ‘Nnaa Thaan Case Kodu’, is set to grace the big screens on May 16. Ahead of its release, the filmmakers have unveiled the much-awaited trailer.
Directed by the state-award winner Ratheesh Balakrishna Poduval, the upcoming movie promises to be a packed entertainer. The trailer reveals that the romantic tale of Sureshan and Sumalatha unfolds across three distinct time periods – 1960, 1990, and 2023. Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra Nair reprise their roles as the love-struck couple, promising the audience an engaging cinematic experience. Additionally, the trailer features a surprising cameo by actor Kunchacko Boban.
The film boasts a talented crew with Sabin Uralikandy handling cinematography, Akash Thomas as the editor, and Dawn Vincent leading the music department. KK Muralidharan oversees the production design, while Jithu Sebastian and Midhun Chalissery serve as the art directors. Liji Preman takes charge of the costumes, and Libin Mohanan is responsible for the makeup.
In addition to the lead pair, the film also features Sudheesh Kozhikode, Jinu Joseph, and Sharanya Ramachandran in supporting roles.
Meanwhile, actor Tovino Thomas has extended his support to the upcoming film ‘Marana Mass’, directed by Basil Joseph, by launching its teaser.
