Known for his laid-back Sundays, Kapoor was previously spotted enjoying a cup of coffee with close friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Additionally, the actor, who recently experimented with different hairstyles for his role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, surprised fans once again with a new look. A snapshot shared by hairstylist Aalim Hakim on social media showcased Kapoor sporting a low fade haircut, coupled with black glasses and attire, igniting excitement among his admirers.
Amidst the flurry of excitement surrounding Kapoor’s appearance, reports emerged regarding legal challenges for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, the project in which Kapoor is set to portray Lord Ram. According to reports, Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP has laid claim to the rights of ‘Project Ramayana’, contending that any use or exploitation of the script or material by Prime Focus Technologies Limited or its affiliates would constitute copyright infringement. The notice further asserts that Prime Focus Technologies Limited holds no rights over the ‘Project Ramayana’ material. While the production company has expressed its readiness to pursue legal action to protect its rights, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari has yet to respond to these assertions.
Despite the legal uncertainties, anticipation for ‘Ramayana’ remains palpable, particularly with Kapoor essaying the iconic role of Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi, who portrays Sita. Production for the film has already commenced, as evidenced by leaked photos capturing Kapoor and Pallavi in character on set.
