Rising star Kartik Aaryan, currently riding high on success, is preparing for the release of his upcoming film, “Chandu Champion,” set to premiere next week. Known for his breakthrough in the “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” franchise, Aaryan has firmly established himself as one of the leading actors of his generation.
Amid the buzz surrounding “Chandu Champion,” Aaryan recently revealed a surprising incident involving his luxury McLaren GT, a lavish gift from T-Series head Bhushan Kumar following the success of “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” in 2022. The car, valued at Rs 4.72 crore, was a celebratory gesture after the film’s unexpected box office triumph during a challenging year for the industry.
In a candid interview with The Lallantop, Aaryan shared his frustration over not being able to enjoy the high-end vehicle due to damage caused by rats. “I drive my other car. I have hardly driven the McLaren. It was in the garage for a long time, so rats chewed the mat, which cost me a lot. I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix it,” the actor explained.
As Aaryan continues to make waves in Bollywood, he is rumored to be stepping into iconic roles. Following the “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” franchise, speculation has grown that he might replace Salman Khan as Prem in Sooraj Barjatya’s next project. However, sources close to the actor revealed that while Aaryan had meetings with the Barjatyas, any decision will be revisited after his current commitments.
Salman Khan’s recent focus on one film at a time due to security concerns has fueled rumors about Aaryan’s potential involvement in Barjatya’s project. Despite the speculation, it remains uncertain if Aaryan will take on the role or be part of a different Barjatya venture.
In “Chandu Champion,” directed by Kabir Khan, Aaryan portrays Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar. Reflecting on this role, he described it as “the proudest moment of my career so far – playing a soldier of the Glorious Indian Army, one of the many facets of Chandu Champion’s life!” The film is scheduled for release on June 14.
Looking ahead, Aaryan is also gearing up for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” which will feature Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan. As he juggles multiple high-profile projects, Kartik Aaryan continues to solidify his status as a major force in the film industry.
