In a recent development, Telugu actor Ravi Teja, last seen in ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Eagle’. Directed by Karthik Ghattamneni, the movie features Ravi Teja, Kavya Thapar, and Anupama Parameswaran in pivotal roles. The film has received a U/A certification from the censor board, with the makers proudly announcing that no cuts were made.
Initially slated for a January 13 release, ‘Eagle’ might now face a delay due to the intense competition during the Sankranti season, as four other major films are set to hit the screens simultaneously. A council, led by Dil Raju, reportedly advised the filmmakers to stagger their releases for a smoother run in theaters, allowing each film a fair chance at the box office.
While the new release date is yet to be confirmed, speculations suggest that Ravi Teja’s film is likely to be postponed. If it sticks to the January 13 slot, ‘Eagle’ will contend with tough competition from ‘Saindhav’, ‘Hanuman’, ‘Guntur Kaaram’, and ‘Naa Saami Ranga’.
The movie’s trailer has already been unveiled, marking the completion of post-production. Apart from the lead cast, ‘Eagle’ features Madhoo, Srinivas Avasarala, Navdeep, Praneeta Pattnail, Ajay Ghosh, and Srinivas Reddy. With its genre pegged as an action entertainer, the film boasts a musical score by Davzand.
