In a recent announcement, the makers of the film “Hum Do Humare Baraah” disclosed a change in its title to “Humare Baarah.” This decision came following a directive from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Starring Annu Kapoor and Parth Samthaan, the movie is slated for a theatrical release on June 7th.
Directed by Kamal Chandra, “Humare Baarah” was initially titled ‘Hum Do Humare Baraah’. The change in title was made to comply with the CBFC’s directive. Annu Kapoor expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Working on ‘Humare Baraah’ has been an incredible journey.” Kapoor also shared his belief that the new title better aligns with the film’s storytelling.
Co-producers Gupta and Bhagat echoed Kapoor’s sentiments, expressing confidence that the new title reflects the essence of the movie and will resonate with viewers. Additionally, the film marks the cinematic debut of TV star Parth Samthaan, renowned for his roles in “Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan” and “Kasautii Zindagii Kay.”
Alongside Kapoor and Samthaan, the film features Ashwini Kalsekar, Rahul Bagga, Paritosh Tiwari, Manoj Joshi, and Aditi Bhatpahri in prominent roles.
Viacom18 Studios is set to distribute “Humare Baarah” nationwide in theaters, according to the makers’ statement.
