Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara achieved major recognition at the 70th National Film Awards held on August 16, winning both the Best Actor award and the Best Entertaining Film award. I am committed to working even harder to bring an even better film to our viewers.” Shetty dedicated the award to the Kannada audience, the Daiva Nartakas, and Appu sir, while also expressing gratitude to the divine for the blessings that contributed to this achievement.
In related news, a prequel to Kantara titled Kantara: Chapter 1 was announced earlier this year, featuring Rishab Shetty as Kaadubettu Shiva. Last year, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise received the 69th National Award for Best Actor and Best Music Direction.
