In a significant move, actor Rishi, who garnered acclaim for his role in the Telugu web series “Shaitan,” is set to make his mark on the big screen in two upcoming Telugu projects. The first, helmed by director Gopi, casts Rishi in the lead role and is currently in production. The second, directed by Bobby Kolli and yet to be titled, will see Rishi taking on the role of an antagonist for the first time, alongside Bobby Deol, who is making his South debut.
Impressed by Rishi’s performance in “Shaitan,” Bobby Kolli expressed his desire to cast Rishi as the antagonist in his upcoming film. Rishi shares his excitement about the project, stating, “When Bobby sir approached me for the role, he already had an entire sketch of my look in the film, and I was blown away by it. The film, temporarily titled NBK 109, stars Balayya sir in the lead, and I’m elated to work with him.”
Adding another layer of anticipation to the project is Bobby Deol’s debut in Telugu cinema. Following the success of “Animal,” Bobby has ventured into Tamil with Suriya’s “Kanguva” and is set to make his Telugu debut with NBK 109. Rishi expresses his enthusiasm for working with Bobby Deol, stating, “I look forward to working with Bobby Deol as he’s someone whose films I’ve watched and enjoyed back in school. The two of us play antagonists in the film, and this will be a wonderful opportunity to work with such great names in the film industry.”
Rishi sums up his excitement, saying, “I am so excited to work with Bobby Deol. I used to watch his movies back in school. It’s a dream come true.” The collaboration promises to bring together two talented actors in a compelling narrative, creating anticipation among fans and the film industry alike.
