Fahadh Faasil’s latest action comedy film ‘Aavesham’ is making headlines in the South Indian film industry, having crossed Rs 42 crores in just eleven days in India. The Malayalam film has been receiving positive reviews from Tamil and Telugu audiences. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently watched the movie and shared her honest review on social media.
Samantha posted a photo hugging her pet dog Hash on their couch with the caption, “#Aavesham Hangover”. She also shared the vibrant poster of the film, encouraging her followers to “Watch Nowwww”, and praised the film’s music by Sushin Shyam, calling him a genius. Samantha couldn’t resist sharing a video of her pet dog Hash and pet cat playing together to the film’s chartbuster song ‘Jaada’.
Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan also reviewed ‘Aavesham’, describing it as a wonderful experience.
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, ‘Aavesham’ features Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu, and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles alongside Fahadh Faasil. The film’s music is composed by Sushin Shyam, and the cinematography is handled by Sameer Thahir.
According to official reports from the makers, the film has garnered Rs 80 crore worldwide within two weeks and continues to run successfully. The movie tells the story of three youngsters from Kerala who move to Bangalore for their studies and face ragging from their seniors. In a bid for revenge, they team up with a local goon, played by Fahadh Faasil, leading to a plot filled with dark humor and action scenes.
