Pakistani actress Sana Javed faced social media criticism following her recent marriage to former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik, who had previously been married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. During a recent Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 match at the Multan Cricket Stadium, spectators chanted ‘Sania Mirza’ when Sana was spotted in attendance.
Captured in a video by a stadium attendee, Sana strolled along the boundary line and was seated in a special VIP section, energetically cheering for her husband. She wore a full-sleeved black t-shirt paired with baggy jeans, carrying a handbag and letting her hair down. Visibly displeased, Sana gave a stern look to the crowd as they continued with the Sania Mirza chants.
Before tying the knot with Shoaib Malik, Sana Javed was previously married to Pakistani actor, singer-songwriter, and music producer Umar Jaswal in 2020. However, the couple divorced in 2023.
Sania Mirza, who was formerly married to Shoaib Malik, made her first public appearance after their separation.
Following her marriage to Shoaib Malik, Sana changed her Instagram bio to reflect her new name, now identified as Sana Shoaib Malik. Speculations about their relationship began in 2023 when Shoaib Malik shared a birthday post for Sana, referring to her as “Buddy.”
Notably, this marks Shoaib Malik’s third marriage, with previous unions with Ayesha Siddiqui and Sania Mirza.
