Siddharth Anand, renowned for directing blockbuster hits such as ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Fighter’ over the past five years, is preparing for a mega-budget two-hero action spectacle set to begin filming in 2025. According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, Anand, a staunch advocate of the action genre, is set to explore new formats within this space with his upcoming project. After considering various ideas, he has decided on a large-scale, two-hero action film. Having worked on the script for some time, he is now ready to proceed with casting.
The report highlights Siddharth’s ambition to bring together two of Indian cinema’s biggest superstars for what is envisioned as one of the grandest spectacles ever created for the big screen. This innovative action genre is expected to surprise audiences with its execution. As with his previous directorial works, this film is intended to be a tentpole action movie, designed to celebrate the big screen as a collective cinema-going experience. The novelty of the genre required extensive research and significant time to complete the script.
In the meantime, director Robie Grewal is filming ‘Jewel Thief’, starring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, under their banner. Additionally, Siddharth Anand is occupied with writing the script for ‘Krrish 4’, working closely with Hrithik Roshan and director Karan Malhotra.
