Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, who gained acclaim for her energetic dance number in Superstar Mammootty’s 2019 film ‘Madhura Raja’, is set to make a comeback in Malayalam cinema. She recently attended the muhurat puja of her upcoming Malayalam movie, sharing a video of the ceremony with her fans on Instagram.
In the video posted on her Instagram account, Sunny can be seen lighting a matchstick, and unfortunately, she ended up burning her hand slightly. Actress Anusree was also spotted in the clip alongside Sunny, who was dressed in a gray T-shirt paired with blue denim jeans. She completed her look with black sunglasses and a chic hairstyle.
Expressing her excitement about the new project, Sunny captioned the post, “I’m so excited to be part of this amazing Malayalam film that I ended up burning my hands (sic).” The comment section of the post was flooded with enthusiasm as Mollywood fans welcomed the actress back to the industry.
Sunny had previously announced her involvement in two other Malayalam films, ‘Rangeela’ and ‘Shero’, but both projects are yet to be released. Additionally, she is set to play a role in Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Kennedy’. Alongside her film commitments, Sunny has been busy hosting the popular reality show ‘Splitsvilla’.
In other news, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan recently revealed that she agreed to star in the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ because of Mollywood actress Shobana, showcasing the influence and admiration Mollywood continues to have in the Indian film industry.
