Amid swirling rumors questioning the authenticity and acquisition of gold ornaments worn by his daughter, Bhagya Suresh, during her recent wedding to Sreyas Mohan, renowned actor-politician Suresh Gopi has stepped forward to address the speculations.
Gopi vehemently dismissed the rumors, stating, “In light of baseless and malicious information spreading on social media, I would like to clarify that every piece of jewelry worn by Bhagya was a gift from her parents and grandparents.” He emphasized that all transactions were diligently documented, with proper billing and adherence to taxation regulations, including the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Providing additional details, Gopi revealed, “The designers were from Chennai and Hyderabad, and one material was sourced from Bhima (jewelry shop).” Urging an end to the unfounded accusations, he pleaded, “Please stop doing this, and emotionally, don’t target me or my family. This humble soul is capable of fulfilling and taking care of these responsibilities.”
The star-studded wedding took place at the Guruvayur temple, attracting luminaries such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mohanlal, and Mammootty. Prime Minister Modi even presented special tokens to the newlyweds, symbolizing prosperity and happiness.
On the professional front, Suresh Gopi’s recent venture was the investigative thriller ‘Garudan,’ scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The movie, featuring Biju Menon in a dark shaded role, garnered positive reviews from audiences.
