In a remarkable feat, Chidambaram’s latest directorial venture, “Manjummel Boys,” has taken the Indian box office by storm, amassing an impressive Rs 103 crore in just 24 days since its release. The survival thriller, praised for its gripping narrative and stellar performances, has resonated strongly with audiences across the nation.
According to reports from Sacnilk website, the film garnered Rs 99.15 crores in the first 23 days of its run, with an additional Rs 3.85 crore on its 24th day. Notably, “Manjummel Boys” witnessed a substantial growth of 40.99 percent in its second week, accumulating Rs 37.15 crore, following an impressive debut week with collections of Rs 26.35 crores.
Overseas, the film has also made a significant impact, raking in Rs 65 crore in 24 days. With an India Gross collection of Rs 121.35 crore, “Manjummel Boys” has solidified its status as a blockbuster in Mollywood.
Directed by Chidambaram and featuring a talented ensemble cast including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and Deepak Parambol, the movie is based on a compelling real-life survival story. Notably, it maintained an impressive 38.57 percent occupancy in theaters on Saturday, March 16, further cementing its box office success.
