Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, known for her strong personality and outspoken nature, has been making headlines not just for her stellar performances in ‘Aarya 3’ and ‘Taali’, but also for her candid revelations about her personal life.
In a recent interview with Indulge, Sen opened up about the possibility of maintaining friendships with ex-partners. She acknowledged that while it can be challenging and confusing, it is feasible if one knows how and where to draw the boundaries. “But it’s possible because I have seen it happen and I am blessed to have it in my life as well,” Sen commented.
Addressing questions about her marriage plans, Sen emphasized the importance of not rushing into marriage due to societal pressures or biological clocks. She stated, “if the person is right and ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned, of course, I will get married.”
Sen also shared her perspective on handling heartbreaks with grace and dignity. She believes that despite experiencing heartbreak, one should not consider a relationship a mistake after investing significant time and emotions into it. “So, all the decisions you take, whether they hurt you, whether you are betrayed, or whether you were at fault, don’t matter. The point is, that something wasn’t meant to be, and it had to stay for as long as it could teach you something. You value that lesson and move on,” the actress asserted.
It’s worth noting that Sen had announced her breakup with Rohman Shawl some time ago. Despite the split, the former couple continues to be seen together, with Sen stating in her breakup announcement that they will always remain good friends.
