Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu recently surprised her fans by revealing that she has tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, badminton player Mathias Boe, in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. While several videos from their wedding began circulating on social media, Taapsee initially chose to keep her marital status private. However, she later confirmed the marriage and expressed her pride in her new husband.
On April 22, Taapsee took to Instagram to share a quote by Mathias, who is also a renowned badminton coach for a leading Japanese sports equipment manufacturing company. The quote read, “Shining a spotlight on every player’s special ability creates a greater illumination of the beauty of this sport. That’s the best part of being a coach.”
Re-sharing the post, Taapsee affectionately wrote, “Such a star you are. Spreading light around. #proud”.
In a recent interview, the actress opened up about her decision to keep her marriage private, admitting she was apprehensive about facing public scrutiny on social media if she shared pictures or videos from the wedding. She emphasized that her marriage is a personal matter and she was not prepared to deal with negativity from others.
On the professional front, Taapsee was last seen in the film ‘Dunki’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and is now gearing up for the release of the sequel to ‘Haseen Dillruba’ with Vikrant Massey.
