In a recent release, Arun Chandu’s much-anticipated film ‘Gaganachari’ unveiled its first track, the title song. The unique and eccentric title track, written by Manu Manjith and composed by Sankar Sharma, features vocal contributions from Niranj Suresh, Bhadra Rajin, B Murali Krishna, and Evaan T Lee.
Directed by Arun Chandu, ‘Gaganachari’ made its debut at the Kerala Pop Con, immersing viewers in a dystopian portrayal of Kerala set in the year 2043. The film, scripted by Arun Chandu and Siva Sai, a former assistant to director Priyadarshan, boasts a star-studded cast including Gokul Suresh, Aju Varghese, and Anarkali Marikar in lead roles, along with KB Ganesh Kumar and John Kaipallil in significant roles.
On the technical front, Surjith S Pai captures the visuals, while Shankar Sharma handles the musical score. The film’s action sequences, orchestrated by stunt master Phoenix Prabhu (known for his work in ‘Kala’), promise to be adrenaline-pumping. Busi Baby John takes on the role of costume designer, and M Bava serves as the art director. Ronex Xavier is credited as the makeup artist.
Meanwhile, ‘Gaganachari’ has been receiving accolades on the international stage, earning critical acclaim at prestigious film festivals such as the New York Film Awards, Los Angeles Film Awards, and the Pramana Asian Film Festival in Southern Italy. Recognized in categories like Best Picture, Best TAIKA Feature Film, and Best Visual Effects, the film has also been featured in festivals across America, Europe, and Singapore.
