In a milestone celebration, popular actress Trisha, known for her stellar performances in Tamil cinema, commemorates her 21st anniversary in the film industry. The journey began with her lead role alongside Suriya in the Ameer-directed film ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe,’ released on December 13, 2002.
Having shared the screen with industry giants like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith, Suriya, Vikram, Dhanush, and Silambarasan, Trisha expressed her heartfelt gratitude on this special occasion. She acknowledged the unwavering support and love she has received throughout her illustrious career.
“I am deeply thankful and blessed… for the special, unique, amazing people in my life who support me, uplift me, comfort me, and bring joy to my soul as they share a piece of their own in the precise magical moment it needed to happen. My being truly loves yours,” Trisha shared in a statement.
The film ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe,’ which starred Suriya, Trisha, and Nandha, marked her entry into Tamil cinema and set the stage for her successful career. Following her debut, Trisha went on to feature in blockbuster films such as ‘Saaamy,’ ‘Lesa Lesa,’ ‘Ghilli,’ ‘Thirupaachi,’ ‘Aaru,’ and ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa,’ among others.
Interestingly, Trisha also made a brief appearance in the 1999 film ‘Jodi,’ starring Prashanth and Simran, in an uncredited role.
