In an exciting update from the Tamil film industry, actor Suriya is gearing up for his next project, “Kanguva,” a pan-India film with a massive budget and a unique concept. The film, directed by Siva, boasts an ensemble cast featuring Suriya, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, among others.
Taking to social media on Saturday, January 27, the makers shared a new character poster of actor Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist in the film. Introduced as Udhiran, the post described him as “Ruthless. Powerful. Unforgettable,” wishing him a happy birthday.
The film, set 1500 years ago, promises to showcase elements representing diverse cultures from all over India, blending imaginary fiction with references to ancient Tamil culture. Music for “Kanguva” is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and the makers have already offered a glimpse of the film through a video and poster, unveiling Suriya’s look.
Anticipation surrounds the movie’s release, scheduled for Summer 2024, in 3D and across 10 different languages. Notably, “Kanguva” marks the Kollywood debut of both Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, adding to the excitement of this highly awaited cinematic venture.
