In a highly-anticipated collaboration, renowned scriptwriter PS Rafeeque has joined forces once again with director Lijo Jose Pellissery, known for his acclaimed works such as ‘Nayakan’ and ‘Amen.’ Their latest venture, ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban,’ is slated for release on January 25, promising to bring a vintage allure to the Malayalam film industry.
During a recent promotional interview, Rafeeque expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ is poised to make history in Malayalam cinema. He emphasized the film’s significance in the industry, highlighting the opportunity to craft a script for the iconic superstar Mohanlal.
Director Lijo Jose Pellissery, credited as the creative force behind ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban,’ echoed Rafeeque’s sentiments, likening the film to an ‘Amar Chithra Katha.’ The period drama, set to offer a unique cinematic experience, has been a collaborative effort with composer Prashant Pillai, who contributed to the original background score and songs. Additionally, Rafeeque lent his lyrical talent to the film’s songs.
