Renowned Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has lauded the recent Malayalam release, ‘Manjummel Boys,’ expressing delight over its outstanding success in Tamil Nadu. Commending the film’s achievement despite deviating from conventional romantic narratives and the absence of a traditional heroine, Prabhu emphasized the triumph of art over language.
During the promotional event of ‘J Baby,’ starring Urvashi, Venkat Prabhu shared his pride in the success of ‘Manjummel Boys’ in Tamil Nadu. This underscores the notion that language is not crucial; it’s the art that truly matters.”
The film, directed by Chidambaram and starring Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi, and Lal Jr., has been making waves in Tamil Nadu, raking in an impressive Rs 15 crore in just 11 days.
