In the wake of the devastating floods caused by Cyclone Michuang, renowned actor Ajith Kumar emerged as a guardian angel for fellow celebrities Aamir Khan and Vishnu Vishal, offering crucial assistance during their time of need.
Actor Vishnu Vishal took to social media to share the harrowing experience, explaining how he and his wife, Jwala Gutta, were rescued by a dedicated team amidst the challenging conditions. Additionally, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who had been in the city for several months tending to his ailing mother, found himself in a similar predicament and was also safely rescued by the diligent response team.
In a heartfelt post, Vishnu Vishal expressed his gratitude towards Ajith Kumar, who, upon learning about their situation through a common friend, promptly visited and provided support. Ajith not only checked on their well-being but also facilitated travel arrangements for other members of their villa community.
Vishnu Vishal shared a snapshot of the moment, captioning it with profound appreciation for Ajith Kumar’s timely intervention. “After getting to know our situation through a common friend, the ever-helpful Ajith Sir came to check in on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members… Love you Ajith Sir!” he expressed.
The floods in Chennai brought life to a standstill, with heavy rains inundating the streets and homes in low-lying areas. Vishnu Vishal further revealed that more than 30 people, including elderly residents, were rescued from their villa community. He commended the efforts of the firemen who played a crucial role in the rescue operations and emphasized the need for support for these frontline workers.
“More than 30 people were taken out from our villa community with many old people as well. Thanks to the firemen who helped us all and are helping other people in Karapakkam… We gave them some food that we had. Please help these people as well; they are working non-stop and reaching out to as many people as possible with so much physical effort,” Vishnu Vishal urged, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian challenges in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
