In anticipation of her second appearance at the Met Gala this year, actress Alia Bhatt has been reminiscing about her debut at the prestigious event last year. The actress, known for her elegant style, made quite an impression in a stunning white gown adorned with pearls by designer Prabal Gurung.
In a recent interview, Bhatt disclosed her nerves prior to walking the red carpet. “The little girl in me was just making sure that I don’t fall down on the red carpet and that I was getting enough time to pose, take a breath and enjoy the moment,” she shared with News18.
Despite her jitters, Bhatt maintained a positive outlook, emphasizing the importance of staying light-hearted and having fun. “It’s not about giving yourself too much pressure and taking it seriously,” she explained. “It’s a massive and big deal but it was also about having fun and being light on the inside, so that your face looks lit up and happy. That’s something I was focusing on.”
With fans eagerly awaiting her ensemble for this year’s Met Gala, themed ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,’ Bhatt’s fashion choices are sure to be a topic of conversation.
On the professional front, Bhatt has wrapped up filming for ‘Jigra,’ a project she also co-produced, slated for release in September 2024. She is set to begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
